Before choosing a dispensary in Trinidad, Here's what you need to know:

• You must be 21+ years of age to purchase recreational marijuana. Also, you cannot provide it to minors.

• You can only consume these products in licensed marijuana hospitality locations, a licensed retail marijuana sales business, and personal residences where the owner of the property agrees to its use. 

• You cannot use recreational marijuana in public, such as:

•  Indoor spaces.

• Hotel rooms.

• Businesses that aren't licensed as a marijuana hospitality location.

• Streets and highways.

• An adult over the age of 21 can possess up to two ounces of recreational marijuana.

• As an adult 21 and over, you can purchase up to one ounce of retail marijuana, marijuana products containing up to 800 milligrams of THC, or eight grams of retail marijuana concentrate in a single transaction. A single transaction is defined as all the transactions made in a day. 

• You can carry marijuana in your car but it can't be in an open container, and you can't be under the influence while driving. 

• You can't remove recreational marijuana from the state, no matter the form of transportation. 

• Marijuana can only be delivered to private residences.
